Currently, in Hung Yen province, there are 3,716 relics, including 6 relics and special national ranked relics; 284 relics and clusters of national ranked relics; 884 relics and clusters of provincial ranked relics; 12 artifacts and groups of artifacts recognized as national treasures and 30 heritages listed in the List of national intangible cultural heritage.
Prominent in that heritage system is the Tomb and Temple Area of the Tran Dynasty Kings, ranked as a special national relic according to Decision No. 2408/QD-TTg dated December 31, 2014 of the Prime Minister.
Hung Yen Tran Temple Festival was also included in the National Intangible Cultural Heritage List by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism according to Decision No. 231/QD-BVHTTDL dated January 27, 2014.
The festival is associated with Long Hung land - which is identified as the land of origin of the Tran dynasty. From this land, the Tran family built a career, formed a prosperous dynasty, associated with glorious feats in the cause of building and defending the country, contributing to affirming the bravery, intelligence and spirit of independence and self-reliance of the nation.
The Tran Temple Festival in Hung Yen province in 2026 is organized at the provincial level in 5 days, from March 1, 2026 to March 5, 2026 (ie from January 13 to the end of January 17 of the Binh Ngo year) at the National Special Relic Area of the Tomb and Temple of the Tran Dynasty Kings, Long Hung commune.
The opening ceremony will take place at 7 pm on March 1, 2026 (January 13), with the participation of delegates from central departments, ministries, and branches; representatives of some provinces and cities; leaders of agencies and units in the province, along with a large number of people and tourists.
The festival consists of two main parts. The ceremony part is solemnly and respectfully organized according to traditional rituals with rituals of offering prayers, offering incense to the Tran kings, water procession, pedestrian procession and ritual activities.
The festival part was vibrant with many cultural, artistic, sports and tourism promotion activities such as: displaying OCOP products; introducing Hung Yen tourism; exchanging Ca Tru clubs; practicing Mother Goddess worship in Tam Phu; traditional contests; 24th Vietnam Poetry Day and folk sports tournaments.
Up to now, the preparation for the festival has been basically completed, ensuring that the festival takes place solemnly, safely, economically, and effectively.
