Information from Tuyen Quang Provincial People's Committee, the 12th Buckwheat Flower Festival 2026 will open on the evening of November 6th at Thanh Nien Square, Dong Van commune.
The opening program lasts about 90 minutes, bringing visitors into an art space imbued with the highland identity, combined with firecracker exchange activities to add color to the festival season on the rocky plateau.
Along with that, the Vietnam-China International Trade Fair 2026 takes place from November 5 to 11 at the Provincial Sports Complex, gathering 300 booths to serve trade and product promotion.
From November 3rd to 7th, Dong Van Old Quarter area will become a space to introduce OCOP products and many typical agricultural products.
This year's series of events also includes the 2nd rock show "Spirit of Stone", traditional folk games and many sports, cultural, and artistic activities organized in the communes of the Dong Van Stone Plateau region.
To prepare for the festival season, localities have proactively planted 400ha of buckwheat flowers in 3 phases, ensuring that the flowers bloom in time for the opening and last from October to December 2026.
Flower fields are cared for at many famous tourist destinations such as Pao's house, Lung Cam village, Lung Cu flagpole, Nho Que river area and Tham Ma slope.
