In her opening speech, Ms. Vuong Ngoc Ha - Vice Chairman of Tuyen Quang Provincial People's Committee emphasized that after the merger of administrative boundaries, Tuyen Quang has become a land with great potential, with an important regional linkage position, creating conditions to expand space for economic, cultural and tourism development.
Tuyen Quang possesses many special values such as: Lung Cu Flagpole - the birthplace of the Fatherland; Liberation Area Capital - Resistance Capital, along with the revolutionary red address system and rich cultural space of 22 brotherly peoples.
In 2025, the province's tourism will receive many prestigious awards and titles, contributing to affirming the position of Tuyen Quang on the national and international tourism map.
The Vice Chairman of Tuyen Quang Provincial People's Committee hopes that the province will continue to receive support from the Government, ministries, branches, the support of localities, businesses and especially the people of all ethnic groups in the province for comprehensive development.
The 11th buckwheat Flower Festival aims to promote the beauty of UNESCO Global Geopark Dong Van Stone Plateau, honoring the cultural identity of ethnic groups. At the same time, he affirmed his determination to make tourism a spearhead economic sector of Tuyen Quang.
At the ceremony, the Organizing Committee announced the brand of the Tuyen Quang buckwheat Flower Festival and re-evaluated typical tourism titles in 2025.
Accordingly, the World Tourism Organization recognized Lo Lo Chai Community Tourism Village as "The World's Best Community Tourism Village"; Dong Van Stone Plateau Global Geopark as "Asia's Leading Cultural Destination"; Panhou Tourist Area (Thong Nguyen) received the title of "Asia's Leading Green Resort".
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism also awarded national tourism awards to H' mong Village (Best Green Hotel) and Pa Vi Community Cultural Tourism Village (Best Community Tourism Destination).
Right after the ceremony, the Flowering Stone Area Art Program with many unique performances, imbued with the culture of ethnic groups.
At the ceremony, the Organizing Committee also announced the Appeal of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tuyen Quang province to join hands to support people in the South Central provinces to overcome the consequences of floods.
This year's buckwheat Flower Festival continues to have many attractive activities until the end of December 2025.
