According to Plan No. 34/KH-UBND just issued by Da Nang City People's Committee, Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2026 will include 6 nights of competition with the participation of prestigious teams.
The announced fireworks schedule includes:
- Night 1 (May 30): Opening with the theme "Nature" - Match between the host team Vietnam (Da Nang) and China.
- Night 2 (June 6): Theme "Heritage" - The clash between the French team and the Vietnamese team (Z121 Vina Pyrotech).
- Night 3 (June 13): Theme "Culture" - Performance by two representatives from Japan and Italy.
- Night 4 (June 20): Theme "Creativity" - The combination of Germany and Macau (China).
- Night 5 (June 27): Theme "Vision" - Australia vs. Portugal.

- Final Night (July 11): Taking place with the theme "Da Nang - Connecting Horizons", is a gathering of the two best teams to compete for the championship.
The fireworks display location is in the Han River Port area as every year. Stands and main stages are arranged on Tran Hung Dao street, opposite the display area to serve people and tourists.
The awards announced by the Organizing Committee include:
The Champion Award receives a prize of 20,000 USD along with a Cup and Certificate.
The runner-up prize received a prize of 10,000 USD along with a Cup and Certificate.
Sub-prizes including Most Favorite Team (audience vote), Creative Award and Promising Award will receive a prize of 5,000 USD each.
Da Nang City People's Committee assigns the Department of Culture and Sports to preside over and coordinate with the City People's Committee Office to monitor, inspect and urge implementation. Relevant units are responsible for developing detailed plans and making cost estimates to send to the Department of Finance and the Department of Culture and Sports for synthesis and reporting to competent authorities.
