According to the plan of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, the city will organize fireworks displays at a total of 8 locations, including both high and low altitudes.
In which, there are 3 high-altitude fireworks display locations located at:
- Saigon River tunnel head area (An Khanh ward).
- New city center (Binh Duong ward).
- Ba Ria Park Square (Ba Ria ward).
These are locations with wide space, clear views, convenient for people to watch large-scale fireworks displays.
In addition, the city also arranges 5 low-altitude fireworks display points, including:
- Cu Chi Tunnels historical relic site (An Nhon Tay commune).
- Dam Sen Cultural Park (Binh Thoi ward).
- Saigon Marina IFC tower area (Saigon ward).
- Kim Long villa area in Nha Be.
- Can Gio sea encroachment tourist urban area.
The allocation of many fireworks display points helps people in different areas to easily access and enjoy the festival atmosphere.
Fireworks display time is set from 9:00 PM to 9:15 PM on April 30, 2026. The display point at Can Gio Sea Encroachment Tourist Urban Area will take place in a shorter time, from 9:00 PM to 9:05 PM on the same day.
Not only fireworks, Ho Chi Minh City also organizes a series of vibrant cultural, artistic and sports activities during the holiday. Art performances are expected to take place from the evening of April 29 at many locations such as Nguyen Hue pedestrian street, the new city center park and large squares, combined with live television to serve a large audience.
In addition, cultural and entertainment activities will continue to be maintained on April 30 and May 1 in the central area and surrounding areas.
With a widespread fireworks display system and many accompanying festival activities, Ho Chi Minh City is expected to bring a vibrant and meaningful commemorative atmosphere, contributing to creating a tourism highlight and attracting a large number of people and tourists during the April 30th holiday this year.
