According to the report, in the first quarter of 2026, revenue from accommodation, dining and travel services of Ha Tinh is estimated at 1,475 billion VND, an increase of 12% compared to the same period.
On that basis, Ha Tinh Provincial People's Committee has just issued a tourism development plan for 2026 with the goal of welcoming about 6.5 million visitors, an increase of 17% compared to 2025.
Of which, overnight visitors reached about 1.1 million (up 16%), including about 1.07 million domestic visitors and 22,000 international visitors. Total tourism service revenue is estimated at nearly 7,000 billion VND.
The tourism industry is expected to create jobs for more than 22,000 workers, of which about 7,000 are direct workers; the rate of trained workers reaches about 70%. The accommodation establishment system is expected to reach about 330 establishments with over 7,500 rooms.
Ha Tinh province also sets a target to digitize about 70% of data related to destinations, relics, businesses and tourism activities.
The plan emphasizes the completion of institutions, mechanisms, and policies for tourism development in the period 2026 - 2030; and at the same time review and adjust the planning of tourist areas and attractions in accordance with the provincial plan.
In 2026, Ha Tinh identified focusing on developing two key product lines: sea tourism and cultural and spiritual tourism.
Ha Tinh strengthens communication on digital platforms, builds fan pages, TikTok channels, YouTube, organizes reality experience programs, photo contests and travel clips.
With clear orientations, specific targets and a comprehensive system of solutions, Ha Tinh expects to create a strong transformation, making tourism an important economic sector, making positive contributions to the socio-economic development of the province.
