In the days leading up to Tet, the Cultural House area of Co Le commune, Ninh Binh province becomes more bustling when the horse mascot is decorated prominently, attracting a large number of people to visit and take photos.
According to Lao Dong's records, at the Co Le commune cultural house, the space is elaborately decorated, imbued with the colors of spring with red and yellow as the main colors, creating a prominent highlight for the central area of the commune. From early morning, many women were also present to visit and capture the first moments of Spring.
Right from the outside, the words "Happy New Year" and 30 pots of happily planted plants and 70 pots of flowers of all colors are neatly arranged, creating a joyful and brilliant scene. The most prominent are two yellow horse mascots placed symmetrically on both sides, in a courageous posture, symbolizing vitality, development and luck in the new year.
The back area is a background decorated with fireworks images, Tet couplets and the words "Xuan Binh Ngo 2026", creating a harmonious and eye-catching overall look.
And at the Nam Lang village cultural house, Co Le commune, a 2.5m high horse mascot is also decorated with brilliant flower colors.
Mr. Nguyen Quang Thao - Secretary of Co Le commune, Ninh Binh province said that the investment in decorating the commune cultural house space aims to create a community activity point, helping people have space to play, take photos, and feel the Tet atmosphere right in the locality. Local authorities plan to transport mascots to kindergartens in the commune for display and use after Tet; without causing waste.
