At famous locations with many beautiful and long-standing cherry blossom trees such as LangBiang (LangBiang ward - Da Lat); Cau Dat and Trai Mat area (Xuan Truong ward - Da Lat)... hundreds of cherry blossom trees simultaneously show off their fresh pink color. Romantic scenery, combined with fresh and cool climate, makes people and tourists excited to come to admire and take pictures.
Ms. Vo Cao Thuy Huyen, a tourist from Quang Ngai province, shared, through social networks, I learned that Da Lat cherry blossoms are starting to bloom, so I arranged work, and came here with relatives and friends to admire the flowers.
I am very happy to immerse myself in the space of cherry blossoms blooming. We plan to stay in Da Lat for at least 3 days to relax and enjoy the flowers," she said.
According to local people, the cherry blossom roots at Cau Dat tea hill were planted about 30 years ago to divide tea garden plots and create landscape along the traffic route.
Usually, at the end of October, cherry blossoms begin to spread leaves and bloom during the New Year. For Da Lat people, cherry blossoms are not only a typical flower but also a symbol of spring, warmth and happiness.
Ms. Le Ngoc Truc Vy, residing in Phan Rang ward (Khanh Hoa) said that when she heard the news that apricot blossoms were blooming, she and a group of friends rode a motorbike more than 100km to Da Lat to experience it.
The road from Phan Rang to Da Lat has to cross passes and winding slopes, so it's quite hard. But when you get there, you can admire the hillsides covered in cherry apricot pink, then all fatigue disappears," Ms. Vy excitedly said.
On December 27, the People's Committee of Xuan Huong ward - Da Lat (Lam Dong) said that the locality will organize the Cherry Blossom Festival - Da Lat Spring 2026, with a duration of about a month.
According to the plan, the festival takes place from January 15, 2026 to February 15, 2026 to honor the beauty of cherry blossoms and welcome the New Year 2026.
The festival includes many special art programs such as opening, welcoming the New Year 2026 and closing at Lam Vien Square.
The locality also organizes many response activities such as: Announcing destination maps, tours to see cherry blossoms; admiring flowers; enjoying free coffee with the theme "Seeing each other in the blooming season" at Tuyen Lam Lake National Tourist Area.
In particular, visitors will enjoy "Anh Dao apricot blossoms on Cau Dat tea hill" at Cau Dat tea hill and immerse themselves in "Anh Dao flower dream in the valley" at Valley of Love Tourist Area.
