Tourists flock to Mang Den to see cherry blossoms

Kon Tum – On the second day of Lunar New Year, thousands of tourists flocked to Mang Den to sightsee and enjoy cherry blossoms.

On the second day of Tet, Mang Den town (Kon Plong district) was bustling with tourists from all over the country coming to visit Mang Den National Eco-tourism Area.

Many tourists took souvenir photos at Mang Den Square, Dam Bri Lake, Pa Si Waterfall, Mang Den Virgin Mary statue...

This year, the weather was favorable, the cherry blossoms were in full bloom, attracting a large number of tourists. Some roads were packed with cars and tourist buses during the day.

According to the People's Committee of Kon Plong district, from the evening of the 2nd to the 5th of the Lunar New Year 2025, many unique art activities will take place at Mang Den Market.

The program includes performances by singers, artists, bands, modern dance groups, and dance groups. In addition, visitors can also enjoy gongs, xoang dances, and traditional musical instruments such as saxophones, t'rungs, and stone instruments.

To avoid overload, the authorities mobilized spare rooms in the surrounding area, and at the same time checked and reviewed prices and food safety.

Mang Den tourist area invites artists and bands to perform throughout Tet to serve tourists, affirming the image of a friendly and hospitable destination.

In 2025, Kon Tum tourism industry aims to welcome 2.5 million visitors, of which Mang Den is the key destination.
