The festival will combine modern technology to match the relic site, in order to enhance the promotion of the outstanding global cultural heritage values of the relic site during the process of Hai Duong province along with Quang Ninh and Bac Ninh provinces. Presenting to UNESCO a dossier to nominate the Yen Tu - Vinh Nghiem - Con Son and Kiep Bac relics and landscapes complex as a world heritage site.
In particular, this year's festival will for the first time display antiques on the morning of September 19 (August 17 of the lunar calendar) before the military gathering performance on Luc Dau River. It is expected that there will be about 10 antique display booths, with activities of displaying, buying, selling, exchanging, and appraising antiques; display of large, valuable artifacts, mainly artifacts of the Tran Dynasty, associated with proving the authenticity of the relic site in the process of nominating the Yen Tu Monuments and Scenic Landscape Complex - Vinh Nghiem - Con Son, Kiep Bac are world heritage sites.
The festival will take place with the following rituals: Procession, incense offering ceremony commemorating the 582nd death anniversary of National Hero, World Cultural Celebrity Nguyen Trai; Sacrifice ceremony at Nguyen Trai temple, Tran Nguyen Dan temple; Commemoration ceremony for the 724th anniversary of the death of national hero Hung Dao Great King Tran Quoc Tuan and the opening ceremony of the Con Son - Kiep Bac autumn festival; Opening and sealing ceremony of Kiep Bac Temple... It is expected that the Organizing Committee will invite delegations from Vientiane (Laos), Suwon (South Korea); Leaders of a number of provinces and cities attended the festival.
