During the Lunar New Year coinciding with the end of the week, the number of tourists coming to Nha Trang increased sharply, causing many services to become overloaded. In which, motorbike rental services almost have no empty vehicles from early morning on peak days.
Ms. Tran Thi Giang's family (Dak Lak) drove a car to Nha Trang for tourism at the beginning of the year on February 20 (ie, the 4th day of Tet).
However, due to the crowded central roads, traveling by car takes a lot of time, her family decided to rent a motorbike for convenient sightseeing.
We called a few familiar places and all reported that the cars were sold out. Even when we went directly to ask, there were none left," Ms. Giang said.

According to records, the demand for motorbike rentals increased sharply on weekends and from the 4th day of Tet. Many establishments said that all vehicles have been booked or rented out by customers since the morning.
Mr. Tuan, owner of a motorbike rental shop in the city center, said that the rental price this time is about 150,000 VND per day, not increasing compared to last year. The shop has added more cars before Tet to meet demand.
The number of passengers increased higher than expected. On the morning of the 4th, more than 100 cars were rented out. Many passengers called continuously, but we had no cars left to deliver," Mr. Tuan said.
According to the Nha Trang tourist wharf management unit, on the 30th of Tet, the 1st and 2nd days, the number of visitors reached 3,000-5,000 per day.
Tourist attractions include Hon Mun, Hon Tre, Vinpearl Nha Trang, Bai Tranh tourist area and San Ho Bay.
It is forecasted that on the 5th and 6th (Saturday, Sunday), the number of visitors will continue to increase, possibly reaching nearly 10,000 visitors per day before gradually decreasing when the holiday ends.
Functional agencies recommend that tourists proactively book accommodation, food services and transportation in advance to avoid overload, especially during peak weekends.
