On October 4, at Kien Bac Temple (Tran Hung Dao Ward, Hai Phong City), the Culture, Tourism and Trade Promotion Week - a key activity within the framework of the Con Son - Kien Bac Autumn Festival 2025 - officially opened.
The event aims to honor the value of heritage, connect tourism and trade development, and make Hai Phong an attractive destination on the cultural and tourism map of Vietnam and the world.
The Culture, Tourism and Trade Promotion Week is an important highlight in the series of activities of the Con Son - Kiep Bac Autumn Festival 2025, taking place from October 4-12.
This year's event includes 3 main groups of activities: developing new tourism products, introducing craft village products - agricultural products - cuisine, and traditional art performances.

In the tourism product introduction activity, three new tourism programs were launched: "A Journey - five Heritage Destinations", "Following the footsteps of the Three Villages of Truc Lam", and "Exploring the World Heritage Site of Con Son - Kiep Bac".
Visitors will experience outstanding destinations such as Thanh Mai Pagoda, Kinh Chu Cave, Nham Duong Pagoda, immerse themselves in the space of folk festivals, explore local cuisine and exchange culture and art.
At the product exhibition space, 3 outstanding areas are: traditional craft village space, typical agricultural product space and OCOP product space, typical tourism - culinary space of Hai Phong. Craft villages such as Chu Dau Ceramics, Chau Khe Gold and Silver, Bao Ha lacquer and paint... bring unique handicraft products.

Meanwhile, more than 200 agricultural products - 3-5 star OCOP such as yellow sticky rice, kudzu flower powder, wild honey... affirm the potential for clean and sustainable agricultural production of the locality.
The culinary space is a tourist attraction with a series of famous delicious dishes of the Port such as bun cha ruoi, nem cua be, bun ca ca, banh da cay... In particular, the handmade and cooking performance at the booth creates a new highlight, helping visitors witness the process of making traditional products, increasing interaction and practical experience.
In addition, traditional art performances such as Cheo, Lyric singing, Ca Tru, water puppetry... are held throughout the week, with the participation of 5 professional art troupes and folk art clubs of the city.

Water puppetry - a unique art form associated with the cultural life of the North - will bring an interesting experience to visitors, especially performances from famous puppet shows such as Thanh Hai and Hong Phong.
Through the event, Hai Phong affirmed its determination to promote heritage values associated with tourism and trade development, making tourism a spearhead economic sector. At the same time, it creates a bridge of cooperation between businesses - authorities - people in a comprehensive, sustainable and unique development strategy.
