In order to promote the outstanding global value of the World Cultural Heritage Complex recognized by UNESCO, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Hai Phong informed about the construction of experiential tourism products at the relic sites: Con Son - Kiep Bac, Thanh Mai Pagoda, Kinh Chu Cave, Nham Duong Pagoda.
Following the direction of the Organizing Committee of the Con Son - Kiep Bac Autumn Festival in 2025, the Department has implemented 3 main tours:
A journey of 5 world heritages - 2 days/1 night, visiting Kiep Bac, Con Son, Thanh Mai, Kinh Chu and Nham Duong, combining experiencing rituals, making pottery, calligraphy, enjoying lotus tea, local cuisine and shopping for typical products.
"Following the footsteps of the Three tries of Truc Lam" - 1 day, visit Sung Nghiem Pagoda, Thanh Mai Pagoda and Con Son Pagoda, experience rituals, enjoy herbal tea, visit Thanh Mai 2 archaeological site, and folk cultural activities.
Explore the World Heritage Con Son - Kiep Bac - 2 days/1 night, the Kien Bac - Con Son journey, combined with meditation experiences, mountain climbing, conquering Ban Co Tien, Am Bach Van, Ngu Nhac Linh Tu, exchanging art, burning campfires and enjoying regional cuisine.
To prepare for these tours, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has directed the Con Son - Kiep Bac Relic Management Board to coordinate with functional departments to review, renovate relic items, upgrade technical facilities, and at the same time pilot the development of experience models to increase value for visitors. The explanatory forces also actively research, collect and systematize documents to ensure accurate and engaging content.
The Department organized a team to conduct a field survey, evaluate the current status and service quality of the relic sites to complete the tours and enhance the tourist experience. Experiential activities include: incense offering, general visitors to the relic, pottery making experiences, calligraphy writing, enjoying chamomile tea, archaeological sightseeing, mountain climbing and cultural exchanges.
These tours not only provide opportunities for cultural and historical experiences, but also contribute to sustainable tourism development, promoting world heritage, and creating jobs and income for local communities.
