Tay Ninh - By the end of July 2025, Ba Den Mountain Tourist Area has recorded 4 million visitors traveling by cable car.

According to statistics, the total number of tourists to Tay Ninh in the first 7 months of 2025 is estimated at about 5.1 million, bringing in revenue of more than VND 3,250 billion. Of which, most of them are concentrated in the Ba Den mountain area - a destination associated with relics, spiritual works and unique natural landscapes.

Ba Den Mountain with an altitude of over 900 m has long been known as the "first celestial mountain" in the South. Not only famous for its majestic beauty, this place is also the center for organizing many large-scale religious activities such as the Ba Mountain Spring Festival, the Buddha's hand ceremony, the Ba Via Festival, Vu Lan, and cultural programs every weekend. These factors have helped this destination maintain its appeal and increasingly affirm its position on the Vietnam tourism map.

Notably, in August, Ba Den Mountain will be the venue for the first large-scale international marathon in Tay Ninh. This event has a running track certified by the International Athletics Federation (AIMS), with the participation of more than 6,000 domestic and foreign athletes.

In addition, local identity experiential activities such as the leaf market - where people use leaves to exchange money will also be organized, contributing to promoting the unique cultural features of Tay Ninh people to tourists.

With a series of events lasting until the end of the year and many new tourism products continuously developed, the local tourism industry expects to complete and exceed the plan to welcome 7.7 million visitors in 2025.

On the afternoon of July 30, the tourist area held a ceremony to announce the 4 millionth visitor traveling by cable car, and at the same time presented gifts to adjacent tourists, creating a vibrant atmosphere and attracting the attention of the tourism community.
