This morning (December 8), high tides caused the entire port to enter and exit Quan Lan Island - a famous tourist island in Van Don, Quang Ninh Province - to be flooded.
Normally, electric vehicles take and pick up people and tourists right at the wharf, however, this morning, people and tourists have to wade from where the boat is anchored to shore and vice versa.

By early afternoon, the water had receded and activities returned to normal.
According to the people of Quan Lan island, Quan Lan port is flooded several times a month due to high tides, but only lasts for a few hours.
However, when the water is low, this port often has the situation of ships entering and leaving, facing difficulties due to the dry port.
Quan Lan is one of the famous tourist islands of Quang Ninh, welcoming tens of thousands of domestic and foreign visitors during peak days.
