On April 29, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Thai Binh province announced that Thai Binh Tourism Week 2025 will be held at Ky Ba Park (Ky Ba Ward, Thai Binh City) from January 1 to May 5, associated with the opening of the Dinh Tien Hoang - Ky Ba walking street of Thai Binh City. In which, the official opening ceremony of the event will take place at 7:00 p.m. on May 3.

According to Lao Dong on April 29, preparations to organize the opening ceremony of Thai Binh Tourism Week 2025 and the opening of a walking street at Ky Ba Park, Thai Binh City are still being urgently implemented.
"This year is the second time Thai Binh has organized a provincial-level Tourism Week to promote tourism, introduce cultural values, cuisine, craft villages and unique types of eco-tourism. At the same time, the event is also an important step to establish a walking street model, building a regular cultural - commercial destination for people and tourists.
Currently, relevant units are actively completing preparations, from facilities, lighting systems, stage to security and logistics to ensure the event takes place safely, systematically and attracts a large number of people to participate", said a representative of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Thai Binh.
Thai Binh Tourism Week 2025 is expected to bring many unique and rich programs, meeting the diverse entertainment - recreation - discovery needs of the public.
During the week, there will be a decoration hot air balloon performance; traditional water puppet performance; Thai Binh food market introducing local delicious dishes, combined with displaying OCOP products; tournament prizes across the province; art program "Thanh members of the Cheo cung" and a special music and dance program
Thai Binh Tourism Week 2025 also has the participation and enthusiastic response from many other localities such as: Cua Lan Temple Festival (Dong Minh Commune, Tien Hai District); Dong Xam Temple Festival (Hong Thai Commune, Kien Xuong District) and eco-tourism tours, craft village experiences, agricultural exploration combined with resorts... especially to celebrate the country's major holidays.


According to the People's Committee of Thai Binh City, the walking street space will be systematically planned with street art performance areas, souvenir booths, specialty cuisine, check-in areas, cultural - art exhibition areas to bring a complete experience to visitors.
"Organizing a Tourism Week combined with the opening of a walking street is not only a cultural - tourism highlight, but also an important test to assess the attraction of this model in developing the night-time economy and urban tourism. This will be a valuable opportunity to promote the image of the friendly, hospitable, unique and rapidly changing land of Thai Binh," added the representative of the organizing committee.
