On the morning of April 20th (ie March 4th of the lunar calendar), at the Hung Kings Temple Historical Relic Site, the Organizing Committee of Hung Kings Commemoration - Hung Kings Temple Festival and Culture - Tourism Week of the Land of the ancestors in Binh Ngo 2026 (referred to as Hung Kings Commemoration) organized the opening program of cultural and sports activities during this year's Hung Kings Commemoration.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Duong Hoang Huong - Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee of the Hung Kings Commemoration Festival, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Phu Tho province said that one of the highlights of this year's Hung Kings Commemoration Festival is that it is organized on a large scale, in a new development space, even larger in terms of geography, culture and potential.
The above change has created conditions for the festival to be organized with an expanded scale, more flexible methods, promoting the proactive role of grassroots levels through the organization model according to 18 commune and ward clusters. Commune and ward clusters proactively organize and participate in many cultural activities, contributing to enriching the content and increasing the community nature of the festival.

The Organizing Committee of the Hung Kings Commemoration Festival organizes the opening of Cultural and Sports activities including: Phu Tho Provincial Mass Arts Festival; sports tournaments and Cultural Camps; display and promotion of products serving the Hung Kings Commemoration Festival - Hung Temple Festival and Earth of Origin Culture - Tourism Week 2026.
The Phu Tho Provincial Mass Arts Festival 2026 is one of the unique cultural highlights at this year's festival. The festival has the participation of mass art troupes from 18 emulation clusters throughout the province.
Participating in the festival are typical nuclei, representing the mass cultural and artistic movement in communes and wards, contributing to spreading the grassroots cultural movement, arousing pride, awareness of preserving and promoting cultural identity in the community.

The sports activities attracted the participation of 437 athletes from 82 units, participating in 4 sports, promising to create a vibrant and attractive atmosphere, attracting widespread cheers from the masses and tourists.
In particular, the Cultural Camp continues to be an activity that attracts the attention of a large number of people and tourists from all directions. With the participation of 18 commune and ward clusters in the province, the camp not only vividly recreates traditional cultural life but also contributes to promoting the image of people and the Ancestral Land.
Each camp cluster is not only a place to organize cultural and artistic activities but also a space to introduce typical products, OCOP products, contributing to promoting tourism potential and local socio-economic development.
