Attractive Guizhou Tourism
The Vietnam - China Cultural Exchange Club has just coordinated with the Guangxi Business Delegation (China) and Chinese partners in Guizhou to organize a program to introduce Guizhou culture and tourism with the theme "Sea of Rhododendron Flowers - Eternal Promise".
The program includes cultural introduction and promotion activities such as performances of traditional costumes and arts of the Miao and Dong people in Guizhou, and introductions of famous cultural tourist areas of Guizhou such as Baili Duquan, Qianhu Miao Village - Xijiang, Zhaoxing Cave Village, Zhenyuan Ancient Citadel, etc.
Mr. Do Xuan Ngoan, General Director of Hongai Tours Travel and Service Joint Stock Company, affirmed that Vietnam and China have a close relationship, many cultural similarities, creating favorable conditions for the development of cultural tourism between the two countries. In particular, Guizhou is a place with many beautiful landscapes, attracting Vietnamese tourists.
“Vietnamese tourism companies have built more diverse tour products to Guizhou, combining both air and road routes with high-speed trains to major attractions such as Tran Vien Ancient Town, Thien Ho Mieu Trai, Bach Ly Do Quyen... and some special points of Guizhou,” said a representative of a Vietnamese tourism company.
Mr. Do Xuan Ngoan hopes to aim for the growth of the number of Vietnamese tourists to Guizhou as well as China in the coming time.
Mr. Duong Quang, representative of Miao Zhai Tian Hu Xi Jiang Cultural Tourism Investment Company Limited, said that he and other Chinese businesses hope to have many opportunities to welcome Vietnamese tourist groups to visit and experience the unique cultural features of Guizhou.
“I hope to spread and promote the unique cultural features of the Miao people to international friends, especially Vietnamese tourists,” he said.
Strengthening connection and cooperation
The program to introduce Guizhou culture and tourism is part of the policy to implement the Joint Statement between the leaders of the two Parties and States of Vietnam and China, aiming to enhance understanding between the people of the two sides; contribute to consolidating public opinion, building a more solid social foundation, and jointly promoting the construction of the Vietnam - China Community of Shared Future.
Responding to Lao Dong, Mr. Tran Nhat Hoang, Deputy Director of the Department of International Cooperation (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) emphasized that the event is of great significance in enhancing tourism connections between Vietnam and China, especially between localities. The program is not only to promote tourism, but also includes many cultural activities and exchanges between the people of the two countries.
He said that this is one of the activities contributing to the implementation of the joint statements of the two countries' senior leaders, such as strengthening cultural, tourism, sports connections, and connecting localities with localities. The event is also an opportunity to enhance exchanges and share experiences in developing the cultural and tourism industries; focusing on people-to-people exchanges and connections.
The leaders of the International Cooperation Department expect that the event will enhance tourism promotion, two-way tourist exchange, and at the same time promote Chinese and Vietnamese enterprises to establish cooperative relationships.
In particular, 2024 is the Year of ASEAN-China People-to-People Exchange. In Vietnam-China relations, many cultural and tourism exchange activities are being organized, aiming to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam-China diplomatic relations.
Vietnam and China are making continuous efforts to implement the joint statement of the two countries' highest leaders, which emphasized "...supporting cultural organizations and art troupes of the two countries to carry out exchanges and cooperation; strengthening coordination, exchanges, and building tourism products; supporting localities of the two countries to carry out exchanges and cooperation; well organizing activities such as friendship meetings, Vietnam - China people's forums...".
