During the 7-day Hung Kings Commemoration Day holiday and April 30 - May 1 holiday, tourism activities in Quang Ngai province recorded many positive signs, the number of visitors and revenue increased sharply compared to the same period last year.
According to a report by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the total number of visitors to the province is estimated at 720 thousand, an increase of 62% compared to the same period; of which international visitors reached about 8,000, an increase of 65%. The total number of overnight visitors reached about 418 thousand, the average room occupancy rate of the whole province reached about 70%.

In key tourist areas such as Ly Son and Mang Den, room occupancy rate reached 90-95%; many accommodation establishments in Kon Tum ward also recorded occupancy rate above 90%.
Provincial tourism revenue is estimated at 532 billion VND, an increase of 71% compared to the same period last year.
Tourist attractions are widely distributed, from sea and island areas to mountainous areas, among which prominent are: Mang Den (about 65 thousand visitors), Ly Son (17 thousand visitors), Kon Tum ward (32 thousand visitors), Sa Huynh (40 thousand visitors), Binh Son (35 thousand visitors)...

According to Ms. Bach Thi Man - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the strong increase in the number of visitors and widespread distribution shows that Quang Ngai tourism is increasingly affirming its attractiveness, becoming a choice for tourists during holidays.
During the holiday, localities have proactively organized many unique cultural, sports and tourism activities such as traditional festivals, art programs, community tourism experiences, cuisine... Contributing to improving the experience for tourists; promoting the image, culture and tourism brand of the province.
In addition, management, inspection, and security and safety assurance at tourist areas and attractions are strengthened. Tourism activities basically take place safely and healthily, meeting the sightseeing and resort needs of people and tourists well.
