On March 18, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Giang - Member of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of Quang Ngai Provincial People's Committee inspected the actual situation of landslides and degradation at Pa Sy waterfall tourist spot, Mang Den commune, which is likened by tourists to the "muse" of this land.

At the scene of inspection, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Giang inspected some degraded, landslide, and potentially unsafe locations at Pa Sy waterfall scenic spot.
Mr. Nguyen Hoang Giang emphasized that Pa Sy waterfall is one of the important highlights of Mang Den Eco-tourism Area. Thanks to its pristine and impressive natural landscape, this place has become a destination attracting many tourists from all over.
However, the rainstorm at the end of 2025 caused serious damage to this tourist spot. Many major landslides have appeared around the waterfall. The repair and restoration of Pa Sy waterfall is very necessary and needs to be implemented soon.
Mr. Nguyen Hoang Giang requested local authorities and departments and branches to urgently comprehensively assess the extent of damage, develop plans and estimate costs to serve the overall repair and renovation work.

In the immediate future, it is necessary to immediately overcome landslide points; in the long term, continue to invest in comprehensive repair and upgrade to create highlights, attract tourists, and promote local tourism strengths.
Mr. Nguyen Hoang Giang noted that the restoration and upgrading of Pa Sy waterfall must completely preserve the original landscape, only concretizing areas that are truly necessary.
In addition, at the scene, representatives of Mang Den commune also proposed that the province allocate funds to upgrade and expand the access road from National Highway 24 to the waterfall to create convenience and ensure safety for tourists.
