With the main message "One destination - Two heritages", the event introduced Quang Ninh as a destination converging two world heritages: Ha Long Bay - a World Natural Heritage recognized by UNESCO, with rare majestic landscapes and Yen Tu - a special spiritual and cultural heritage, associated with Truc Lam Zen River, a symbol of the depth of Eastern culture. These are two heritage pillars that create the unique identity of Quang Ninh, helping visitors not only admire the majestic nature, but also experience the journey to explore the spirit and culture of Vietnam. In addition, Quang Ninh has also introduced many new and more diverse products at this tourism promotion event, notably a show including cuisine in Hang Ngoc Rong - a cave on the shore that has opened to visitors since June 2025.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Ninh Van Thuong, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the province emphasized: Quang Ninh is not only a destination for landscapes, but also a journey of experiences - a place that connects natural values, culture and hospitality imbued with Vietnamese identity. In the tourism development strategy, Korea is identified as a key international tourism market of Quang Ninh. In 2024, Korean visitors staying in Quang Ninh will reach 184,818; In the first 6 months of 2025, Korean visitors staying in Quang Ninh will reach 88,795, ranking 2nd in terms of the number of international visitors staying in Quang Ninh.
Mr. Nguyen Quang Son, Representative of the Global Tourism Promotion Organization (GTDO) shared why he chose Quang Ninh in his destination promotion journey: Quang Ninh is not only mentioned for its world-famous tourism symbols such as Ha Long Bay, Yen Tu or Bai Tu Long Bay, but also for its constantly developing identity. Within the framework of the program, business connection activities (B2B) took place enthusiastically, with the participation of more than 200 travel companies, organizers to take Korean tourists to travel abroad, along with many typical tourism - accommodation businesses in Quang Ninh, opening up many real cooperation opportunities, from building package tours to developing specialized products for Korean tourists.
