On July 9, Con Dao National Park (specifically Con Dao area, Ho Chi Minh City) said that it had just recorded another case of albino sea turtles that were successfully hatched and released into the natural environment.
The latest case was recorded on July 4 at the Let's Get Cracking Egg Hamlet Center on the campus of a resort in Con Dao, with a baby turtle successfully hatched and released into the natural environment.
According to Con Dao National Park, albino sea turtles are rare superficial individuals, with a fairly low probability (from 1/150,000 to 1/100,000).
However, during the process of hatching eggs and releasing baby turtles back into the natural environment in Con Dao, there were many times of hatching of albino sea turtles.

In October 2022, the group of 120 eggs in Hon Bay Canh successfully hatched 115 baby turtles, including 11 albino individuals. In October 2023, albino turtles continued to be recorded hatching in the Let's Get Cracking egg hatching area.
Recently, in May 2025, on Hon Bay Canh, there were also 2 albino turtles that were hatched and released into the natural environment...
Haging turtle eggs is completely natural, only protecting turtle eggs from being affected by flooding, other pests...
Currently, Con Dao is the place that breeds and releases baby turtles into the sea the most in Vietnam, accounting for 90% of the total number of sea turtles released into the natural environment in the country. Con Dao National Park is also a member of the Southeast Asian and Indian Ocean turtle conservation network.
