The circulation of storm No. 10 caused severe damage to Tu Le commune, with 38 houses damaged, nearly 40 hectares of rice buried, 2 spillways swept away, 1 suspension bridge collapsed, total damage of nearly 42 billion VND.
The road from National Highway 32 passing through Lin Thai village to Lin Mong village, Ta Dong is not possible because the spillway over Hang Nang stream was washed away, thousands of cubic meters of soil and rocks buried many sections of the road.
In Ta Dong village, the KoongHill camping area with camping areas built by Thai families for community tourism was also seriously affected.

Along with that, nearly 40 hectares of rice fields, mainlyep Tan rice - a specialty rice variety of Tu Le commune - were buried.
Mr. Lo Van Khiem in Ta Sung village said: "The floodwaters came quickly, sweeping away all of my family's assets and damaging my house. The terraced rice fields that are about to be harvested have also lost everything...".

Understanding the difficult situation of the people, right after the flood, regardless of the time or day of rest, the leaders of Tu Le commune held an urgent meeting to deploy solutions to overcome the situation.
In addition to mobilizing local forces, the commune launched the "Weekend with the People" movement, considering this a both immediate and long-term solution to gradually restore production and stabilize life.

Along the flood water treatment embankment on Hang Nang stream, hundreds of people were present very early, from commune cadres, youth union members, women's unions, veterans to people in the villages.
People actively transport rocks to put into baskets with the hope that this embankment line, once completed, will limit the damage to people every time the rainy season comes.

For houses affected by floods, especially traditional stilt houses, volunteer forces have quickly supported and repaired them.
With some tourism activities such as the "Flying on the Golden Season of Tu Le" Festival lasting until the end of October, experiential tourism is currently temporarily suspended due to affected rice fields and landslides in the Khau Pha Pass area.

Mr. Luong Van Thu - Secretary of the Tu Le Commune Party Committee said that in response to the warning about the complicated developments of storm No. 11, we have reviewed and mobilized forces and people to reinforce vulnerable areas to minimize damage caused by natural disasters.
The routes to tourist attractions such as: Mat Xoi hill, "Dynastus spine", " pine forest, bamboo forest", "rice grain" Mo De... were all cleared by the government and people for landslides, cleaned and renovated village roads and alleys.
Dangerous areas have also been increased in checking and placing warning signs to ensure the safety of tourists.

In addition to the famous terraced fields, Tu Le also has Khau Pha Pass - one of the "four Great Trail Traps" of the country; has a famous paragliding spot in Vietnam and is one of the top most beautiful paragliding spots in the world; has a 360-hectare Lam Mong valley; has a hot mineral spring...
Each year, Tu Le welcomes about 200,000 domestic and foreign tourists, contributing to increasing income, improving life and sustainably reducing poverty for people in the highlands.
