Accommodation "up to standard", homestays are fully booked early
At the end of April, when many urban areas began to enter the peak of hot weather, Sa Pa still maintained a cool weather - a great advantage attracting "heat-escape" tourists. Catching up with this demand, accommodation establishments from hotels to homestays simultaneously renovated and upgraded.
In community tourism communes such as Ta Van, Ta Phin, stilt houses nestled on the mountainside are cleaned up, supplemented with blankets and mattresses, renovated closed toilets, installed with hot water heaters, wifi, common living areas...
Many homestays also invest in check-in spaces, flower gardens, and terraced field viewing areas to enhance the experience for tourists.

According to records, many accommodation establishments have achieved 80-100% booking capacity early, especially during peak days of the holiday. Some hotels in the central area also proactively arranged more personnel, increased shifts of receptionists and room rooms to ensure continuous service.
Customers now not only need sleeping space but also experience. From rooms, landscapes to reception, everything must be meticulous. If done well, customers will come back and introduce more friends," Mr. Nguyen Trung Kien - Deputy Director of Cat Cat Tourism Co., Ltd. shared.
Indigenous cuisine "upgrades
In parallel with accommodation, food services are identified by business establishments as a key factor in retaining tourists. Many restaurants and homestays have proactively renewed menus, diversified dishes but still retaining the "soul" of highland cuisine.

Specialties such as grilled stream fish, local chicken, armpit-carried pig, thang co, forest vegetables... are processed in a more palatable direction, beautifully presented, and hygienically guaranteed. Many establishments also design experience combos - tourists cook themselves, enjoy local meals, or participate in market fairs, pick vegetables in the garden.
Notably, food safety control is tightened before the peak season. Local authorities strengthen inspection of the origin of raw materials, processing and preservation procedures; require business households to sign commitments to ensure hygiene.

Exciting festival, extending stay
This tourist season, Sa Pa continues to "keep the fire" with a series of large-scale events. Prominent is the 2026 Rose Festival with the theme "Rose Symphony" at Sun World Fansipan Legend, gathering millions of flowers along with special art programs and parades.
The festival atmosphere spreads from the town center to the villages, combined with activities such as the Summer Festival "Sa Pa - Land of Love", the "Sa Pa - Watershed Season" race... creating a chain of continuous experiences, contributing to extending the length of stay and increasing tourist spending.

With synchronous preparation from accommodation, cuisine to infrastructure and human resources, Sa Pa is entering the peak season with a proactive attitude. Not only welcoming guests, the locality aims to improve the quality of experience, building a professional and sustainable destination image.
Positive signals from the beginning of the year - the number of visitors increased by more than 20%, especially the strong recovery of the international market - are adding more hope for Sa Pa to complete the target of welcoming 5 million visitors in 2026.
