Summer 2026, Sa Pa becomes a vibrant destination with a series of experiential activities aimed at families, lasting from April to the end of September.
Not only is it a place to relax and avoid the heat, Lao Cai highland ward is "renovating" itself with tourism products associated with entertainment, exploration and interaction.
Starting summer is the Mau Thuong Temple Festival (April 18 - 19), where visitors can learn about Mother Goddess worship with their loved ones through traditional rituals. The festival space is both spiritual and creates a gentle stop for families before embarking on a journey of exploration.
From the end of April, Sa Pa began to "heat up" with a series of large-scale entertainment activities.

The opening night on April 29th at Sa Pa ward's central Quan yard not only had music and art but also fireworks displays, creating a bustling atmosphere, suitable for families to experience the night festival space.
A notable highlight is the Fansipan Rose Festival (April 25 - May 3) at Sun World Fansipan Legend. With a space filled with brilliant flowers, flower car parades and performances, this is an ideal place for families to visit, take photos, and relax.
Young children can immerse themselves in open spaces, while adults enjoy the scenery and art activities.
During the April 30 - May 1 holiday, a series of outdoor activities continue to be organized such as art programs and experiences at Ham Rong tourist area.
Tourists can participate in mountain climbing, try being farmers, explore local cuisine - educational experiences, helping children better understand the life of the highlands.

Entering May and June, activities focusing on cultural experiences are promoted. The Brocade Festival and fashion shows open up a creative space, while the "Sa Pa - Heritage in the Mist" Week brings a series of practical activities such as indigo dyeing, beeswax painting, and weaving.
This is an opportunity for families to participate together, increasing interaction instead of just simple sightseeing.
The festival atmosphere continues until September with art activities such as the sculpture camp "Sa Pa, a traditional identity", contributing to creating new attractions and helping tourists have more choices when returning.
With a variety of activities, from entertainment, check-in to cultural experiences, Sa Pa this summer is not only aimed at individual tourists but also becomes a suitable choice for families who want to find a vacation that is both relaxing and rich in experiences.
