According to statistics from the Department of Culture and Information of Sa Pa town, during the National Day holiday from August 31 to September 3, 2024, the Sa Pa Autumn Festival 2024 will be held with 11 events, of which 5 events will be held on September 2, including:
Opening of the Sa Pa Autumn Festival 2024 and receiving the Provincial-level Monument Certificate for Bac Waterfall and Fansipan Peak.
Sa Pa Music Night Welcomes Autumn with the participation of many musicians, singers and artists from folk art troupes in Sa Pa town.
The circus performance program "Fairy Tale Muong Hoa" was held at the International Food Village - Muong Hoa Park project - Cau May ward with the participation of People's Artist Tong Toan Thang and artists from the Vietnam Circus Federation.

The Mong Cultural Festival is held at Cat Cat Tourist Site, Hoang Lien Commune during the holidays with performances of folk culture and traditional crafts of the Mong ethnic community in Sa Pa.
Ban May Golden Season Festival with activities reenacting festival activities of Lao Cai ethnic communities and harvest rituals with wishes: A bountiful harvest; full granaries and full granaries.
Also within the framework of the Sa Pa Autumn Festival 2024, Sa Pa town cooperated with Mu Cang Chai district, Yen Bai province to successfully organize the Forum on linkage and cooperation in tourism development between Sa Pa town and Mu Cang Chai district; Photo exhibition Connecting Terraced Field Cultural Heritage with the theme: "Heritage Route".

With the above series of outstanding events, the total number of visitors to Sa Pa during the September 2 holiday is estimated at 122,767 (an increase of 34,184 over the same period in 2023); total revenue from tourists is VND 419,863 billion (an increase of VND 93,112 billion over 2023).
Compared to other tourist destinations nationwide, Sa Pa tourism is one of the tourist destinations that welcomes many tourists to visit during the holiday because of the beautiful weather, the terraced fields are in the ripe rice season; tourist destinations prepare well for conditions, effectively exploit the cultural and natural values of Sa Pa, thus creating a highlight to attract visitors.
However, the problem of street vending still exists - especially the phenomenon of exploiting children for profit continues to occur in areas where customers gather.
Besides, local traffic congestion still occurs at some key intersections in Sa Pa town, causing difficulties for tourists to travel.
