On October 24, the opening ceremony of Binh Thuan Tourism Week was the opening ceremony of the Fair to display and promote tourism products, cuisine, regional specialties, OCOP products of Binh Thuan and other provinces and cities nationwide at NovaWorld Phan Thiet. The Fair has more than 50 booths and will last until October 27.
Mr. Vo Thanh Huy, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Binh Thuan, said that Binh Thuan's tourism products are increasingly diverse and attractive, with a system of tourist accommodation facilities continuously developing and of increasingly high quality. Provinces and cities all offer the most unique and attractive tourism products along with regional culinary specialties.
This event aims to promote local specialties, famous dishes, OCOP products, contributing to enhancing the promotion, advertising, and introduction of destination images, products, culinary tourism services to tourists. At the same time, enhancing exchanges and cooperation between provinces and cities across the country on cuisine and regional specialties.
In the series of events of Binh Thuan Tourism Week 2024 is the Binh Thuan Delicious Food Contest, with the participation of 29 teams of chefs working at restaurants, hotels, and resorts in Binh Thuan province and some other provinces and cities.
On this occasion, the Vietnam Records Institute will organize an announcement and award the Asian record certificate for the dish "Phan Thiet Hotpot" and honor the Golden Chef of the province in 2024 on October 26.
During the 4 days of Binh Thuan Tourism Week 2024, at Bikini Beach Square, NovaWorld Phan Thiet will host a series of special art programs with performances by famous singers.
According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Binh Thuan, this is an opportunity to attract tourists, bringing rich experiences in culture, art and cuisine; clearly demonstrating the orientation of developing green and sustainable tourism of Binh Thuan province. At the same time, creating tourism products, attracting tourists and aiming to welcome 9.5 million tourists in 2024.
