Up to 50% off travel services
On October 23, speaking with Lao Dong, Mr. Tran Van Thanh - Director of Binh Dinh Department of Tourism - said that from the beginning of October to the end of 2024, accommodation, sightseeing, dining, travel, transportation, conference hall and other services for agencies and units coming to Binh Dinh to attend conferences, seminars, and combine tourism will be discounted from 10-50%.
"At other times of the year, accommodation and tourism service establishments in the province have discount programs to attract tourists, but the incentives are low. As for the fourth quarter - the low tourist season, the discount will fluctuate from 10-50% depending on the business," said Mr. Thanh.
According to Binh Dinh Department of Tourism, 21 accommodation establishments have reduced room rates by 20-50% compared to the listed price; 3 tourist transport businesses have reduced prices by at least 20%; 6 dining establishments have reduced prices by 5-100% depending on the group of guests; 2 tourist areas and attractions have reduced entrance fees by 20-50%... Conditions apply to groups of guests of 5 people or more.
Delegations coming to Binh Dinh to attend conferences and seminars, with a minimum number of 100 guests, will be supported with 50% of the cost of renting halls and meeting rooms at the Provincial Conference Center; supported with 50% of the cost of organizing traditional art performances...
Stimulating tourism and offering discounts to attract visitors in the fourth quarter is a practical program. Therefore, Binh Dinh Department of Tourism recommends that organizations and businesses that have registered seriously implement service discount packages, ensure quality standards... to bring satisfaction to visitors.
Two tours are about to "run"
In addition to launching incentive programs to attract visitors, Mr. Tran Van Thanh said that Quy Nhon City is completing the construction of two Thi Nai lagoon tours, which are expected to be put into operation in about a month.
"When these two tours come into operation, ensuring safety for tourists will be given special attention by transport units. Passenger transport vehicles must meet all requirements for registration and inspection. In addition, businesses will be encouraged to build services such as food, entertainment, recreation, etc. to retain tourists," said Mr. Thanh.
Thi Nai Lagoon has more than 5,000 hectares of water surface, famous for its rich ecosystem, especially mangrove forests and migratory birds, creating a fascinating natural picture, considered an ideal place to organize nature exploration activities.
In recent years, Thi Nai lagoon has become an attractive destination for tourists. Most recently, Thi Nai lagoon has also been "named" in front of thousands of international tourists, when it was the venue for international professional motorcycle and motorboat racing.
When the two Thi Nai lagoon tours start running, visitors will be able to explore cultural sites such as Hai Minh fishing village, Thay Boi tower, and Tran Hung Dao statue... The two tours promise to maximize the eco-tourism potential here, promoting the development of the local tourism industry.
