According to the Binh Thuan Tourism Promotion Center, a series of traditional events and festivals will be organized before, during, and after the National Day 2.9 to attract tourists.

The festival will kick off with the Quan The De Tam Festival from August 23-25 in Phan Thiet. This is a traditional cultural festival of the Chinese community in Phan Thiet.
Hundreds of people will dress up as characters in historical legends and participate in parades with floats, dragon and lion teams, and other performances through the streets of Phan Thiet.

Tourist attractions will also organize events to attract tourists such as the Summer Fest series at NovaWorld Phan Thiet, including a water-splashing festival on August 31 and a grand concert welcoming National Day on September 2, accompanied by low-altitude fireworks with 90 sets.

Next, the Phan Thiet City Mid-Autumn Festival is expected to take place on September 15 (13th of the lunar calendar) with 25 large lanterns and 2,000 small lanterns from schools and community groups in Phan Thiet, which will carry lanterns along the central streets of Phan Thiet.

According to the Binh Thuan Statistics Office, Binh Thuan welcomed over 5.4 million visitors in the first 7 months of 2024, with nearly 236,000 international visitors, and estimated tourism revenue of over VND 14,020 trillion.
