The Khen Mong Festival and To Day Flower Festival are scheduled to open at 8:00 p.m. on January 10, 2026 at the Mu Cang Chai Commune Central Stadium, Lao Cai Province.
Key activities include the Khen Mong Festival, To Day Flower Festival, street parade, art program, Khen Mong Competition, Shoe Breading Festival, spinning performance and many other folk games.
This year, the Khen Mong Festival is expected to have more performances of ethnic costumes, bamboo dances and cultural exchanges between ethnic groups.
The exhibition, introduction and sale of OCOP products, typical agricultural products, products from mountain goats and traditional cultural recreation spaces will be held from December 31, 2025 to January 20, 2026.
The booths introducing OCOP products, handicrafts, and traditional cuisine are arranged to create highlights to attract customers.
In addition to the Khen Mong Festival, the To Day Flower Festival also has a series of cultural activities to welcome the New Year.
