According to the plan, the International Marathon "MUCANGCHAI ULTRA trail" 2025 will take place on October 3-4, 2025, at the Mu Cang Chai Commune Sub-Champact yard.
The 2025 International MUCANGCHAI ULTRA TRAIL Marathon is an annual race within the framework of the Golden Season Festival. This is a special sports - tourism event, promising to attract thousands of domestic and international athletes and tourists to participate and experience.
The 2025 season has 4 competitions, including distances: 100 km, 50 km, 25 km and 15 km, suitable for many groups of subjects.
The highlight is the running track designed through terraced rice fields, between the H'Mong and Thai villages, that both challenges endurance and brings interesting experiences of natural landscapes and local culture.
On this occasion, locally, artisans, production households, and cooperatives also introduced to domestic and foreign tourists about ethnic traditions, indigenous culture, specialty products, etc. of the highlands.
The International "MUCANGCHAI ULTRA TRAIL" Marathon 2025 aims to spread a healthy lifestyle, connect the community, and raise awareness of environmental protection. The organizing committee encourages athletes and tourists to limit the use of plastic waste, participate in garbage collection activities on the running track, and plant souvenir trees in the departure and destination areas.

The 2024 International "MUCANGCHAI ULTRA TRAIL" Marathon attracted 1,480 domestic and international professional athletes. Athletes competed in 4 distances: 100km, 50km, 25km and 12km. Of which, athletes registered to participate in the 50 km and 25 km distances are the largest with 350 athletes and over 600 athletes respectively.
