Cat Hai Special Zone People's Committee has just announced the temporary suspension of construction of works during the April 30, May 1 holidays and summer 2026 on some road sections and routes of Cat Ba Tourist Center.
Accordingly, to ensure safety for people and tourists; and at the same time ensure landscape and environmental sanitation during the April 30, May 1 holidays and the Cat Ba Summer Tourist Center in 2026, the People's Committee of Cat Hai Special Zone announced the temporary suspension of construction works.
From April 29 to the end of May 3, construction activities on a number of roads will be temporarily suspended: April 1, Nui Xe, Nui Ngoc, Ha Sen, Gia Luan - Ben Beo, Tung Dinh, road 356 section in Cat Ba island.
Cat Hai Special Zone People's Committee requests households currently using sidewalks to gather construction materials and do business in the Cat Ba, Cat Hai areas and 356 road (A, B), Gia Luan - Ben Beo tourist road to urgently clean up construction materials, tables, chairs, and tarpaulins to return the ground to ensure landscape and environmental sanitation during the holidays.
Investors and contractors currently constructing in the special zone are responsible for collecting materials, vehicles, and machinery serving construction to restore road and sidewalk infrastructure in accordance with technical requirements. At the same time, clean up, sanitize, and ensure safety for people and vehicles participating in traffic.
From May 31 to the end of September 5, all construction activities will be temporarily suspended on some routes: April 1 (section from the concrete yard of Cat Ba market gate, next to house number 98) in the direction of Cat Co beach 1, 2 and 3; Tung Dinh; Nui Ngoc and Nui Xe in Cat Ba Tourist Center in the summer of 2926.
