On August 28, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism said that Hanoi will coordinate with the Command of President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum to organize the giving of 45,000 gifts to people and tourists visiting and visiting President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum on September 2.
This is a regular activity of practical significance, expressing feelings and responsibility in serving and welcoming people and tourists; and at the same time contributing to promoting the political and cultural significance of the President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum project and promoting the image of the Capital's tourism.
To support travel needs during the 5-day National Day holiday, Hanoi provides free bus and urban railway tickets; maintains more than 17,000 bus trips per day, organizes the operation of urban railway lines 2A and 3.1 with a frequency of 10 minutes/trip, and arranges 42 backup buses, ready to increase passenger clearance when needs arise.
To ensure service quality during the holidays, the Hanoi Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has requested tourist attractions, accommodation establishments, travel businesses and service providers to arrange sufficient manpower, goods and necessary conditions; strengthen guidance and support for tourists; promptly receive and resolve feedback and recommendations from people and tourists.
Units strictly implement regulations on listing and publicizing service prices, not raising prices or forcing tourists to pay; strengthen ensuring security and order, traffic safety, fire and explosion prevention, food safety and hygiene; maintain environmental sanitation, collect and treat waste promptly; ensure the safety of health, lives and property of tourists.
With a diverse tourism product system, a series of rich cultural and artistic programs and the proactive preparation of management agencies, localities and the business community, the Capital's Culture, Sports and Tourism sector expects to well meet the sightseeing, entertainment and resort needs of people and tourists during National Day September 2, 2026.
