The list of 93 countries and territories was published in the Royal Gazette on the evening of July 15 and took effect immediately.
Passport holders of the listed countries and territories can stay in the country for a maximum of 60 days and can apply to extend their stay for up to a further 30 days.
The new policy takes effect immediately after Thai Interior Minister Anutin Charnvirakul and Thai Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin signed the directive.

The previous visa exemption program only applied to international visitors from 57 countries and territories. The policy has been applied and expanded to help revive the sluggish economy, especially the tourism industry recovering after the COVID-19 pandemic.
Besides this relaxed visa policy, the Thai government promotes two other visa programs. One is the policy of increasing the number of countries granted visas at the border from 19 to 31 countries and territories.
The second is the Destination Thailand Visa - a visa specifically aimed at digital nomads , freelancers and tourists who want to perform or learn traditional Thai skills such as cooking and Muay Thai.
This new visa is valid for 5 years and allows the holder to stay in Thailand for a maximum of 180 days per year.
Students with a visa to study in Thailand for a master's degree program or higher will be allowed to stay in the country for an additional year after graduation to find a job or travel, instead of leaving the country immediately. .
Citizens from 57 countries and territories are enjoying visa exemption policies and can currently enter Thailand and stay for 60 days:
