Mungyeong City, Gyyeongbuk Province is becoming a famous tourist destination after the movie "Queen of Tears" was an unexpected success. The house of Baek Hyun Woo ( played by Kim Soo Hyun ) was filmed in Yongyeon-ri, a quiet village in Mungyeong.
All filming locations are famous areas, showing the identity and long history of Mungyeong city, from Gurang-ri station, where Baek Hyun Woo and Hong Hae In (Kim Ji Won) dated until the tunnel filled with cherry blossoms in the final episode.
After the movie ended, many viewers came to this city to visit.

In episodes 13 and 14, the movie filmed at the Gurang-ri railway bicycle station, where the couple Baek Hyun Woo and Hong Hae In went on a date.
This station uses an abandoned railway track, and visitors can cycle here. Rail cycling sections include Jinnam Station, Gurang-ri Station and Gurang-ri Station. Specifically, the location where Soo Hyun and Ji Won rode their bicycles was at Gurang-ri Station, Mukbaengi section.

"Queen of Tears" was filmed against the backdrop of the beautiful nature and tourist attractions of Yongyeon-ri, Mungyeong, starting from May 2023. The film tells the story of love between Hong Hae In (played by Played by Kim Ji Won), the daughter of the third generation Queens Group, and Baek Hyun Woo (played by Kim Soo Hyun), ended with a viewership rating of over 10% in Korea.
When this movie became famous, tourism in Mungyeong city also improved. Mungyeong Mayor Shin Hyeon-guk told Imaeil :
“Mungyeong has an excellent environment for drama and movie production, including beautiful natural scenery and many filming locations. In the future, traffic access is expected to improve so filming conditions will also improve. I hope more film crews will choose locations here and Mungyeong city will make every effort to support the production of dramas and movies like this."
