According to Lao Dong, during the National Day holiday on September 2, Can Tho often experienced showers, disrupting people's sightseeing and entertainment at some locations. Most people and tourists only chose to go to coffee shops, supermarkets, eat out or go on eco-tourism in the city.

Ms. Truong Thanh Thuy (Ninh Kieu District, Can Tho City) is one of the tourists visiting Bay Bon fish raft during this vacation with her family. Family members experienced foot massage with fish at Con Son Agricultural Tourism Cooperative (Binh Thuy District).
She said: “Because of the unfavorable weather, we postponed our beach trip to Kien Giang and decided to visit Con Son instead. We are very happy to be reunited with our family and get to know many kinds of fish. I think this easy trip will help the family bond more.”

Meanwhile, some tourists also enjoyed witnessing frog circus, buffalo riding and eating traditional cakes at Mr. Le Van Cang's garden house.
Mr. Le Nguyen Phuong Tung (Cai Rang District, Can Tho City) expressed: “Because of my busy work, I only have one day off. I chose to go back to the garden to heal. The peaceful scenery in Con Son helps me dispel the pressure of work and the chaos in life.”
“Our tourist destination is close to the city center, bringing a sense of home and closeness for young people to enjoy comfortably. Hopefully, visitors will have a memorable holiday at Con Son” - Mr. Le Van Cang said.

On the occasion of September 2nd this year, there were about 700 - 1,000 visitors coming to Con Son every day. The number of visitors increased by about 5 - 7% compared to the same period last year.
According to Ms. Le Thi Be Bay, Director of Con Son Agricultural Tourism Cooperative, before the holiday began, the members of the Cooperative had met to discuss solutions to ensure safety for tourists coming to visit and experience the river tourism site.
“All members and employees are instructed not to raise prices or overcharge customers during the holidays, and dishes served to customers must be prepared to ensure food hygiene and safety,” Ms. Bay informed.
In addition to focusing on eco-tourism destinations, some people in Can Tho also choose to go to coffee shops to meet relatives and friends. Many workers and housewives prefer to go to supermarkets to hunt for promotional goods during the holidays.
“Due to our limited budget, we did not have any long trips during the 4-day holiday. Mostly every morning, I take my family out to eat, then go around the city or go to the supermarket to let the children play, and my wife buys food. Relaxing during the holiday will help us have the energy to start work, increasing productivity at the end of the year,” said Mr. Le Quang Huy (32 years old, Can Tho).
