Bringing digital technology to promote heritage
From June 28, the night tour "Dau Thanh Hang Kenh" officially launched by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Hai Phong, Hai Phong Museum and Library and L'Heritage Group. This is the first overnight tourism product of Hai Phong City to apply modern digital technology to the heritage space at the Hang Kenh Communal House relic.
The Sacred imprint of Hanh Kenh night tour aims to honor the noble values of the Hanh Kenh Communal House - a national architectural and artistic relic, built more than 3 centuries ago, a place to worship King Ngo Quyen, the hero who opened the independent era of our country.
Night tour is a combination of folk performing arts, traditional rituals and modern technology, with typical activities including: water puppet performance on the peninsular lake; incense offering ceremony, scripture offering, gratitude and Prayer for the blessing of King Ngo Quyen.
Traditional exchange activities and art performances include Cheo, Ca Tru, offering song and especially the royal gate singing performance - a unique art form of Ca Tru art.
In addition, visitors can participate in traditional culinary and handicraft experiences: writing teachers' letters, printing Dong Ho paintings, shopping for traditional and unique handicraft products...

According to Ms. Tran Thi Hoang Mai - Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Hai Phong, the highlight of the night tour is the 3D mapping performance "Song Bach Dang Hao Hac Ngo Quyen" with content about the life and glorious feats of Duc Vuong Ngo Quyen.
The 3D mapping film consists of 5 segments, from the image of Duong Lam Ancient Village - Ngo Quyen's hometown, to the military training scene, tide research, deployment and the scene of the historic Bach Dang sea battle. The effects of light, sound, and moving images on the background of the ancient communal house will create a lively, realistic and emotional space.
Mr. Nguyen Dinh Binh, a tourist to Hanoi, said that he has come to Hai Phong many times, but this is the first time I have experienced the Dang Kenh Sacred Light Night Tour. In just over 1 hour, visitors can learn about the history and experience the cultural beauty of the city from water puppetry to courtyard singing as well as typical dishes of the land of the gate.
