“Recently looking at tour sales websites, I see a variety of itineraries, including 4-day, 3-night, 5-day, 4-night and longer tours with many different destinations.
The tours have quite good prices, from about 14 million VND/person to more than 30 million VND/person depending on the schedule, much cheaper than booking your own plane tickets or traveling on your own," said Ms. Huyen.
Closing the summer tourist season, many travel businesses continue to prepare tours, routes, and tourism products to serve tourists in the fall-winter season of 2024.
Mr. Pham Van Bay, Deputy Director of Vietravel Hanoi branch, said: “Since the end of July, in addition to the September 2nd holiday tours, many tourists have been interested in, planning and asking about tours during the fall and winter, even during the Lunar New Year. Therefore, we have also prepared products and started the fall and winter tourist season very early.”
The company has received many requests to book domestic and international tours from tourists for the end of this year's tourist season.
Competitive tour prices
According to Mr. Pham Van Bay, autumn with cool weather is the right time for tourists to explore destinations in the Northeast - Northwest, admire the golden season in destinations such as: Ha Giang, Nghia Lo - Tu Le - Mu Cang Chai (Yen Bai), Sa Pa (Lao Cai)...
However, at some locations affected by floods and landslides in the North, tourists' itineraries will have to be adjusted. Due to difficult roads, the landscape at some tourist attractions and tourist spots in Sa Pa, Yen Bai, Ha Giang has been devastated. Accommodation systems in Hai Phong and Ha Long need time to recover from the consequences of storm No. 3 Yagi.
Besides, many tourists also choose to join the tour to the Central Highlands provinces such as Da Nang, Tay Ninh, Buon Ma Thuot, Pleiku...

For tourists from the South, Mr. Hieu believes that Nha Trang (Khanh Hoa) and Phu Quoc (Kien Giang) will be attractive destinations at the end of 2024. Mr. Hieu commented: "From October onwards, Phu Quoc will enter the most beautiful season of the year with favorable weather, beautiful sea and sky views, and beautiful sunsets. Hopefully, airfares will cool down so that Phu Quoc has the opportunity to return and welcome visitors better than in the summer and the whole year."
In addition to domestic destinations, the year-end foreign tour market is also starting to become vibrant.

Accordingly, departing in October and November, the price of a 5-day, 4-night tour to see yellow and red leaves in Korea, departing from Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, is from 12.9 million VND/person. The 6-day, 5-night Hanoi - Japan tour is from 25.9 million VND/person, the 5-day, 4-night Ho Chi Minh City - Taiwan (China) tour is from 11.9 million VND/person...
Besides, many tourists also look for international tours to nearby destinations such as Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia... and other Asian countries.
“Currently, we are implementing about 20 air and land tourism products for visitors to China, traveling to famous destinations such as Kunming, Dali, Lijiang, Jiuzhaigou, Zhangjiajie... With a low cost compared to domestic air travel, visitors tend to prefer going abroad, leading to the number of China tours still selling quite well,” said Mr. Hieu.
Unlike the summer when there is an explosion of tourists traveling in groups or with large families, customers booking tours early in the fall-winter tourist season are mainly couples, families, and groups of friends.
