Ly Son, the frontline special zone of the Fatherland, is the crystallization of volcanic eruptions from millions of years ago. Among them, Big Island is the center of all activities with extremely special terrain. Seen from above, the island is like a jade pearl floating in the ocean, surrounded by the majestic sedimentary cliffs of Thoi Loi mountain and Gieng Tien mountain.
The roads on Big Island have a rare beauty. On one side is the jade blue sea with waves crashing into the ancient coral reefs, on the other side are the lush green garlic fields stretching across the white sand and characteristic quartz humus. The roads in Ly Son will pass through scenic spots that have become symbols such as To Vo Gate, Hang Pagoda or Thoi Loi peak - where there is a towering sovereignty flag facing the East Sea.

Thanks to its unique terrain and natural landscape, Ly Son has been chosen as a running track for athletes in the Ly Son Half Marathon. It is not simply a sports competition, but also an activity to honor the beauty of the homeland's sea and islands, connect the community and spread the message of sacred sea and island sovereignty.
This year, the race at Ly Son is expected to take place on June 28, promising to bring wonderful experiences to participants. This is the most beautiful summer time on the island with brilliant golden sunshine and calm sea, creating ideal conditions for athletes to achieve new personal milestones.

Besides the dreamlike racetracks, athletes also have the opportunity to experience unique local culture, enjoy specialties of garlic salad, sea snails and immerse themselves in the simple rhythm of the hospitable islanders. The combination of tourism and sports not only brings health but also creates a strong boost for the local economy.
