According to information from the Quang Ninh Provincial Border Gate Management Board (under the Quang Ninh Economic Zone Management Board), since the beginning of 2025, border gates and openings in the area have completed immigration procedures for 5.96 million people.
Of which, Mong Cai International Border Gate accounts for the majority with 5.63 million arrivals, an increase of 7% over the same period in 2024.
In September 2025 alone, border gates in the province completed procedures for 732,417 people, including 365,527 entry and exit and 366,890 exit.
Specifically, at Mong Cai International Border Gate: Bac Luan I Bridge area reached 616,525 people (308,614 arrivals, 307,911 departures); Bac Luan II Bridge area reached 43,050 arrivals (20,366 arrivals, 22,684 arrivals).
The Km3+4 Hai Yen opening route reached 5,664; Hoanh Mo Border Gate reached 37,082; Bac Phong Sinh Border Gate reached 30,096 people.
Immigration activities through Quang Ninh border gates continue to maintain growth momentum, reflecting the strong recovery trend of trade, border tourism and economic cooperation between Vietnam and China.
