On May 27, in Rach Gia ward, An Giang Provincial Museum and Pleiku Provincial Museum of Gia Lai jointly organized the exhibition "Colors of Gia Lai and An Giang Culture".
The exhibition introduces and promotes images, people and culture of Gia Lai and An Giang to the public, strengthens cultural exchange between ethnic groups, creates connections between the Central Highlands and the Mekong Delta; preserves and promotes the values of tangible and intangible cultural heritage, from costumes, festivals, customs to folk art. Thereby, arousing pride, love for homeland and sense of responsibility in preserving cultural identity, contributing to promoting tourism - cultural development, turning heritage into a driving force for socio-economic development.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Bach Hue, Director of An Giang Provincial Museum, emphasized that through the exhibition "Colors of Gia Lai and An Giang Culture", introducing to the public typical images of nature, history, cultural life, intangible cultural heritage and typical cultural products of Gia Lai and An Giang provinces.
Mr. Nguyen Hai Binh, Deputy Director of Pleiku Museum, shared that in response to the National Tourism Year - Gia Lai 2026, the theme "Gia Lai - Great Forests Touching Blue Sea", with the theme "Colors of Gia Lai Culture" at the exhibition, Pleiku Museum displays about 200 images, artifacts, excerpt boards, introducing a general overview of Gia Lai province's nature and people, intangible cultural heritages that have been honored, ranked relics, and traditional craft villages in the province.
The exhibition taking place from May 27 - 31, 2026 is not only a cultural and artistic activity but also aims to strengthen the introduction and promotion of the traditional cultural heritage values of the ethnic groups of Gia Lai province to An Giang province, contributing to promoting local tourism development. Bringing Gia Lai cultural heritage to a wider range of domestic audiences and international tourists, contributing to the success of the National Tourism Year - Gia Lai 2026, said Mr. Nguyen Hai Binh, Deputy Director of Pleiku Museum.

This exhibition also strengthens exchanges and connects ethnic communities, contributing to preserving and promoting the value of cultural heritage; a bridge between the past - present - future, helping the public, especially the young generation, understand and appreciate heritage; creating motivation for inter-regional tourism development.
