On July 9, Binh Chau Commune People's Committee (HCMC) said it had just organized the opening and operation of Binh Chau public beach (Binh Minh hamlet, Binh Chau commune) with a scale of about 8ha, to serve the needs of people and tourists for entertainment, swimming, and rest.
Putting public beaches into operation will contribute to creating more healthy entertainment and rest spots for people and tourists; gradually promoting the advantages and potential of sea tourism in Binh Chau commune.
According to Mr. Nguyen Do Hai Thuan - Chairman of Binh Chau Commune People's Committee, putting public beaches into operation is a favorable condition for gradually developing marine tourism, attracting tourists to visit and relax in Binh Chau. Thereby creating favorable conditions for socio-economic development, contributing to building an increasingly civilized, friendly and attractive local image.
Local authorities have directed relevant units and forces to deploy environmental sanitation maintenance, landscape protection, security and order assurance... to build a civilized and friendly tourism environment. In particular, the requirement to ensure safety for people and tourists at the beach is put first; proactively develop rescue plans, arrange necessary forces and vehicles, strengthen guidance and remind people and tourists to comply with regulations when swimming in the sea; promptly handle arising situations.
Binh Chau Commune Public Service Supply Center also requests people and tourists to comply with the regulations when playing and swimming in the sea, to jointly build the image of Binh Chau beach as safe, civilized, and clean.
-It is necessary to bathe in the permitted area, at the prescribed time frame, and at the same time closely monitor children under 12 years old when participating in water activities.
-Raise awareness of maintaining general hygiene, littering in the right places, self-protecting personal property and complying with the instructions of rescue forces and beach management boards.
-It is strictly forbidden to drive motor vehicles on sand dunes, organize drinking parties, cooking, littering indiscriminately, street vendors, soliciting, forcing tourists to pay prices, making noise or committing illegal acts.
