According to the Ha Long Bay - Yen Tu World Heritage Management Board, Soi Sim beach belongs to the VHL2 tour on Ha Long Bay.
From 2020 to now, this beach has temporarily stopped welcoming visitors because the Ha Long Bay flora and fauna conservation area project on Soi Sim island had to stop construction to complete legal procedures for land allocation, forest allocation and sea area allocation according to regulations.

Currently, the Management Board is coordinating with relevant departments and branches to review and report to the Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee to consider removing difficulties and obstacles in order to soon bring Soi Sim beach back to serve tourists.
The above move takes place in the context that Soi Sim beach has just been honored in the list of 100 most beautiful and most worth experiencing beaches in the world in 2026 announced by Corona (USA) organization on World Oceans Day June 8.
This is also the only representative of Vietnam to be included in the annual handbook "Corona Beach 100 2026". According to the international expert council, Soi Sim is highly appreciated for its pristine beauty, isolated space, connection with nature and criteria for environmental protection and biodiversity.
Located in the core area of Ha Long Bay World Natural Heritage, Soi Sim beach has an area of about 7.8ha, nổi bật with smooth white sand, clear blue water, a rich natural forest ecosystem and sim hills blooming purple in the summer.
During the temporary suspension of visitors, the Ha Long Bay - Yen Tu World Heritage Site Management Board requests travel businesses, ship owners and tour guides to fully inform tourists, and proactively adjust schedules, introduce alternative attractions in the VHL2 journey.
