With the e-Visa policy expected to take effect from September 1, 2025, the plan to increase the frequency of direct flights between Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Istanbul from October 2025, Vietnam - Turkey tourism officially opens a strategic cooperation phase, aiming at promising two-way tourist exchanges.
Speaking at the Workshop "eVisa - Take off the dream of Turkey" on the afternoon of July 24, Mr. Korhan kemik - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkey to Vietnam said that from September 1, 2025, Turkey will officially issue electronic visas (eVisa) to Vietnamese citizens.

Simplifying visa procedures is a clear testament to efforts to promote cooperation between our two countries, Ambassador Korhan kemik said.
Not only does it make it easier for Vietnamese people to travel to Turkey, the eVisa policy also creates a strong driving force for the development of sectors such as culture, education, trade and especially tourism, the Ambassador emphasized.
The Turkish Ambassador emphasized that, Increasing flights will not only facilitate tourists but also open up effective B2B promotion channels between businesses of the two countries.
Mr. gayret Yuksel - Director of Turkish Airlines in Vietnam, said that the Turkish airline is ready to accompany Vietnamese travel companies through famtrip programs, preferential price policies and joint promotional campaigns.
On behalf of the workshop co-organizer, Mr. Truong Quoc Hung - Chairman of HUTC affirmed: "This is one of the most practical events for the current travel community. From e-Visa to convenient flights, Vietnamese businesses have had the conditions to build new, attractive and effective tourism products to Türkiye.

This program is also the beginning of a strategic orientation: Building a Product Development Alliance between HUTC members and Turkish partners, effectively exploiting the two-way market. This is also preparation for the HUTC delegation to participate in the ITF Turkey International Tourism Fair on September 25 - one of the largest fairs in the region.
Many businesses have expressed special interest in in-depth tourism products in Turkey - from the Istanbul heritage journey, Cappadocia, Ephesus to resort and nature exploration destinations such as Troy or Antalya.
In particular, the Halal tourism product line is emphasized as a new trend, not only for the Muslim community but also opens up indigenous cultural experiences for international tourists.

At the discussion session at the workshop, businesses of the two countries had the opportunity to connect, share experiences and make specific proposals on tours, target groups, digital communication and promotional programs in the coming time.
In particular, the launching ceremony of the Vietnam - Turkey Tourism Exchange Product Development Alliance ended the event with excitement and determination, aiming to promote two-way tourist exchange.
Mr. Truong Quoc Hung emphasized: We believe that Turkey will soon become a strategic destination on HUTC's outbound map. At the same time, we also hope to welcome more Turkish tourists to explore Vietnam.
With a favorable electronic visa policy, extended flight routes, businesses from both sides accompanying and goodwill to cooperate, Vietnam and Turkey are together opening a new journey in tourism cooperation. Not only to increase the number of visitors, this is also an opportunity to foster trust, understanding and cohesion between the two cultures.
