Ho Chi Minh City - Vung Tau Ward welcomed about 230,600 visitors, ensuring safety for tourists playing swimming during the 4-day National Day holiday on September 2.

On September 2, the Vung Tau Culture - Information - Sports and Tourism Center said that during the 4 days of the National Day holiday on September 2 (from August 30 to September 2), it is estimated that Vung Tau ward welcomed about 230,600 tourists to enjoy swimming; down about 45,400 visitors compared to the same period last year.

On September 2 alone, it is estimated that about 50,000 visitors swam and checked in at the beaches and destinations in the area.

The authorities recorded a case of a tourist whose oyster caused bleeding due to entering an underground rock beach and were given first aid to remove him from the area and provided medical first aid.

During the holiday, the Center has arranged personnel to be on duty to ensure the safety of visitors. Thereby, there is no situation where tourists drown, waves hit far from the shore or other accidents while swimming.

At the same time, the center coordinated with businesses to clean the beaches at night; maintain environmental sanitation in the entire beach and coastal park area. As well as patrolling to detect and prevent garbage dumping; street vendors luring tourists, causing disorder...
