On August 29, the People's Committee of Vung Tau Ward announced a traffic organization plan for the National Day holiday on September 2 in the area, from August 30 to September 2.
In particular, Vung Tau will ban passenger cars with 45 seats or more from entering Hoang Hoa Tham Street; ban cars with more than 30 seats from entering, and prohibit parking on Phan Chu Trinh Street.
At the same time, many signs prohibiting left turns at intersections connecting to Thuy Van Street were placed; some signs prohibiting turning around on Thuy Van Street (from Le Hong Phong to Hoang Hoa Tham).
On Ha Long Street (Baia Dua area) and Ganh Hao 2 restaurant area, parking and turning around will be prohibited for a section of about 200m.
Tran Phu Street will also have signs prohibiting left turns at connecting intersections; prohibiting turning around and parking at many sections of the route. Mountainous roads such as Vi Ba and Hai Dang also have signs prohibiting cars during this period.
In particular, the area where the event was held to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the success of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2 will ban Le Hong Phong Street from Dai Liet Si area; Thuy Van Street from the intersection with Thi Sach to Tran Chanh Chieu. At the same time, many temporary parking lots have been arranged nearby.
The People's Committee of Vung Tau Ward also requested that accommodation establishments be responsible for disseminating to drivers and tourists to know and comply with regulations; contact and arrange parking lots for tourists and staff of the establishment according to the prescribed types of vehicles.
