On November 10, social networks spread a video of Korean singer G-Dragon (Big Bang)'s parents visiting the historical and cultural relic of Ngoc Son Temple, Hanoi.

The Kpop star's parents traveled to Vietnam to support their son during the two concert nights held in Hung Yen on November 8-9.

Before that, the audience witnessed the moment G-Dragon's parents sat in the stands cheering for the male singer to perform in front of tens of thousands of fans in Vietnam.

Since G-Dragon started the global tour "Übermensch" in March 2025, his parents have been seen attending many of their son's performances, they are willing to fly abroad to cheer for G-Dragon wholeheartedly.

G-Dragon's family is not a poor family in Korea but is also a well-off family. His father is said to be a businessman in the food and restaurant industry. G-Dragon's sister is the founder of a Korean fashion brand, having collaborated with many major fashion houses such as Chanel, Gucci, Off-White...

Last year, when G-Dragon was suddenly investigated for alleged drug use, his family was always a support to help him overcome the difficult period. His sister frankly defended her younger brother, criticized the media and a part of the public who "written the novel" could not believe about G-Dragon.

G-Dragon is an artist famous for his "honest" style and unique, different style. But in the eyes of his parents and relatives, he was always a filial, affectionate child.

In July, a video recording G-Dragon standing in a corner, laughing embarrassedly while taking a photo with his mother behind the scenes of a concert in Malaysia caused a stir.

In a documentary about Big Bang, G-Dragon shared that his mother once said "there should be no more tattoos". After that, he still had another tattoo on the back of his neck, so he had to keep his hair long to cover it. But nothing could escape her mother's eyes. When discovered, she texted: "You will look dirty, like a million years old if you keep getting tattooed like that".

She even told her son when she saw the new tattoo: "Mom, I know, there's no need to hide it anymore. If you have any more tattoos, don't go home anymore, just stay with dog Gaho."

His mother is the one who has always accompanied G-Dragon on his journey into showbiz. At the age of 6, his mother registered him to participate in the program Little Roora on MBC, taking G-Dragon to the path of art.

This was the launching pad for him to become a K-pop trainee later and debut as the leader of Big Bang in 2006.
