Thach Thanh Binh (1995) currently owns a photography and beverage shop in Da Lat. He owns many wedding photos, family, friends... and a social networking channel named Binh Bong Sup with nearly 500,000 followers.
From pet dog to companion
Originally an electrical engineering student in Can Tho, instead of pursuing a career in the West, Binh found a passion for photography and the mountain town of Da Lat. In 2019, Binh decided to start a business and moved to Da Lat to live. At first, he did everything alone and always had to face sadness and loneliness. In the countryside, his parents raised many animals and Binh had the first thought of finding a pet to keep as a friend. Then just 2 months later, he adopted Bong, and 8 months later adopted turned against Bung.
Bong and Sup are both Golden Retrievers, a smart, friendly dog breed that is loved by many people. There were times when Binh took many outdoor photos and didn't mind leaving his pet dogs at home, so he took them with him. "Letting them at home feel really poor, my customers like taking photos, so I often put them in photos with them, so I decided to be a model."
Bong and compete with the tangerines and are carefully cared for and trained by Binh like their own children. Not only going to work and hanging out together, the two pet dogs also become effective assistants, models in customer souvenir photos. Gradually, almost wherever Binh went, Bong Bun followed him like a ball. Photos taken with Bong Sup have become a part of the boy's life since he was not a good boy.
Initially intended in Da Lat only a year, Binh has lived in this place with Bong Bong 5 years. Life gradually became more comfortable, Binh also bought a small van to carry two pet dogs to the West to visit his family, take his parents to Phan Thiet travel ... Each small trip, Binh realized the new habits, interests and characteristics of Bong Bup. For example, Buli loves to play with water, going out near the sea will rush out, and every time the camera holds up, they know how to pose very professional.
On the way across Vietnam
Binh shared about his wishes: "For a long time, I have seen friends traveling far away, traveling across Vietnam, I also crave it, but time and work have not allowed. When raising Bong Sup, the desire to have 2 dogs has increased as much experience and discovery as possible. Coffee shops can temporarily close, photography can help me go and take photos, so the journey across Vietnam starts from mid-March".
The small valve truck packed with belongings and 5 members, Binh, 2 friends helped take photos and Bong Bung. From Da Lat, Binh returned to Soc Trang to visit his family, went down to Ca Mau Cape and then went back to the North.
The cross-country time is expected to last 3 months for everyone to have fun comfortably. In addition to experiencing the new land, each place Binh visits is dedicated to an "off fan" (meeting fans) who are lovers, following Binh Bong Sup, and those who raise pet dogs and cats.
It seems that "fans" are mainly in the South but when they go to the North, Binh realizes that there are many people who love and want to meet. Depending on the time and weather conditions, some places they meet only a few people, some places gather dozens of uncles, young people and children to exchange. In May, Binh and two dogs went from Ninh Binh to Thai Binh provinces and went to Hai Phong to visit Cat Ba Island through Hai Duong before coming to Hanoi. Two Boc Boc dogs have "fans" 40 - 50km to meet, lucky money and even to cook food to bring ... The whole group is saving Hanoi in the last days of May, but the main experience in suburban areas for cotton, buckling most comfortable.
Seeing photos and videos shared happily, few people know the difficulties of the journey across Vietnam with their pet dogs. "There were times when Bong Sup was sick and I felt like going home, but I kept thinking. If we are too tired, we will rest longer before starting to get to a new place. The difficulty before going is that with kidney failure, food must be prepared more carefully, and flowers are more susceptible to pneumonia when sleeping in air-conditioned rooms. In Vung Tau, our group had to stay for a week to get treatment before leaving, Binh said.
Sharing the experience of bringing a pet dog away, Binh had to find a spacious land or near the park so that they would go to the toilet. Many places in the city center, Binh drove 4 - 6km to have a suitable place. At the hotel or homestay, before checking out, remember to vacuum and hair.
"We don't remember how many provinces we have been to, but this trip is extremely meaningful because we have fulfilled our wishes. Each place to experience people in a foreign land, to experience food is extremely valuable. This trip will leave a special mark as well as the achievements the two dogs will achieve, which is traveling across Vietnam, the most experiential experience that few other dogs have the opportunity to have".
Binh hopes the journey will end in Cao Bang or Ha Giang, then return to Da Lat to visit a coffee shop to continue with new plans.
