Expert advises Declan Rice to consider leaving Arsenal

Expert Adrian Durham believes that Declan Rice should receive the same treatment as Bukayo Saka.

This week, Bukayo Saka signed a new contract with Arsenal, thereby becoming the highest-paid player in the team. The star who grew up from the academy has clearly proven himself, having always been the main pillar of coach Mikel Arteta for many years.

Meanwhile, Declan Rice is entering his third season since joining Arsenal from West Ham for a fee of 105 million pounds. Rice quickly affirmed his leadership role in midfield and also played an extremely important role.

However, speaking on talkSPORT Daily, expert Adrian Durham said that Rice has reason to feel dissatisfied. He said: "Rice always dedicates himself in every match. He is always ready, covering every corner of the field, never pretending to be injured.

He is the heart of the team, a captain much better than Martin Odegaard. Yet, he had to hear the news that Saka became the highest-paid player in the team.

Durham continued to emphasize his views on Rice's situation: "He must be very angry. In just a moment, Declan Rice's dedication and qualities were completely disregarded. Therefore, I think giving Saka a lucrative new contract is an insult to Declan Rice".

TalkSPORT's expert goes even further: "Making Saka the highest-paid player is really a stab wound to the heart, and if I were Declan Rice's agent, I would put pressure on Arteta.

I will advise him to request a new contract with better conditions. If Arsenal cannot meet the demand, leave and find a better team.
