On July 17, the Department of Culture and Sports of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province coordinated with the Department of Physical Training and Sports and the Vietnam Chess Federation to organize the opening ceremony of the 2024 National Club Chess Championship in Vung Tau City. , competing for The Grand Ho Tram trophy.
The tournament attracted nearly 1,200 young players with good achievements from 34 units, provinces, cities and industries with strong chess movements.
Players will compete for medals in the events of rapid chess, blitz chess and super blitz chess in the individual format; male and female teammates; Men's and women's pairs according to each age group.
After the opening ceremony, the players entered the competition for the women's team championship of all age groups. The matches are scheduled to take place from July 17-20.
